Who we work with

Two ways people hire us.

Half our work is subcontracted dirt work for plumbers and GCs. The other half is property owners with a line that failed — or a project that needs one.

From the main to the building: trenching, tapping, installation, inspection, and full restoration. Excavation and demolition carry the rest of the job.

Sewer & Water Line Installation

New sewer laterals and water services from the main to the building — trenched to grade, installed to code, tested, and inspected.

Street Openings & Road Restoration

Permitted road cuts and utility taps in the right-of-way, restored to municipal spec and passed the first time.

Water & Sewer Line Repair

Leaks, breaks, and failed laterals located and repaired — often same day — with the surface put back, not patched over.

Excavation & Site Work

Site prep, grading, trenching, and haul-off that keeps the build on schedule and the next trade moving.

Demolition & Land Clearing

Controlled demolition and lot clearing — by machine or by hand, depending on access and what's standing next to it.

Drainage Systems

French drains, pitch correction, and outfall work that moves water away from the building for good.

How a job runs

No surprises between the quote and the backfill.

Site visit

We look at access, depth, and what's in the ground before we quote a number.

Written quote

Scope and price on paper. If something could move the number, it’s named up front.

Permits & markout

We pull the road opening and utility permits and call in the utility markout.

Dig, install, restore

The line goes in, the inspection passes, and the site goes back the way it was.

Common questions

Straight answers before you call.

How much does it cost to replace a sewer line in New Jersey?

It depends on length, depth, access, and whether the run crosses a road or driveway. A short residential lateral is a very different job from a long run that needs a permitted street opening. We quote in writing after seeing the site, and we tell you up front what could change the number — rock, unmarked utilities, or a deeper connection than expected.

Do I need a permit to open the road for a utility connection?

Yes. Road openings in the public right-of-way require a permit from the municipality or county that owns the road, and restoration has to meet their specification. We handle the permit and the restoration as part of the job.

How long does a water service replacement take?

Most residential water service replacements are a one-day job once the permit and markout are done. Longer runs, road crossings, or difficult access can push it to two days. The markout itself has a required waiting period, so the schedule usually depends more on that than on the digging.

Do you work as a subcontractor for plumbers and general contractors?

Regularly — about half our work comes from the trade. We handle the excavation, trenching, and restoration so your crew can do the connection. Your customer stays your customer.

Do you handle emergency water and sewer repairs?

Yes. Broken services and failed laterals don't wait for business hours. Call and we'll give you a straight answer on when we can be there rather than a vague promise.

Will my yard be destroyed?

Trenching disturbs ground — there's no way around that. What we control is how it's put back: proper backfill and compaction, and the surface restored rather than left as a scar across the lawn.
